Rear End swap maybe a dumb question

I have been looking into the LS1 F-body brake swap, but can I swap the whole rear into my truck? I realize the spring mounts are different, but I would be doing a coil over rear suspension at the same time. I obviously would need a 3.42 ratio. It seem like the axle length would be the proper size, since the LS1 brake swap include swapping axles. Are our rear end 7.5's, like the f-bodies? Is the front pinion connection different?

rear's wrong width.
pinion same.
brake swap uses your oem axles.
obv coil vs leaf differences
shocks mount differently
no point in doing it - just do backing plates out for the brakes
