Re: removing abs

-Disconnect the electrical plugs and the brake lines from the unit.
-Remove it from the truck.
-Deside how far you want to go with the wiring, either coil it up and hide it or attempt to remove it from the truck. You could be very anal like myself and and actually take the time to remove every individual wire from everywhere it hooks to, ECM and all. Remove all the speed sensors, change over to non-ABS backing plates and non-ABS hubs. Yeah I know I should be a case study on OCD, but you could go over my truck with a fine tooth comb and you'll never know it ever had ABS
-Find a ABS delete brake line kit for sale somewhere or make your own.

That's all there is to it.

Do you have the part #'s for the stainless braided lines? I'm going to go this route and would make it
much easier. Pls advise

Drink lots of beer, eats lots of wings, and sit on the couch......your abs will disappear faster than you know it!

Re: removing abs

Here's a thread where the parts required was covered. Bottom line is unless you have a garage full of tools, you are better off buying the lines from Hood...
