anybody know where i can take my truck to to get the body restored?? wanna take body off the frame and send body out any ideas??

If your going to spend that kind of money to pay somebody to do that extensive of work, you better bring alot of cash. There's a few hundred hours of work there. You might want to consider finding a truck in better shape that doesn't need that kind of money invested in it.

Well most local body shops will take on a project like this. Try and find a couple (non franchise) body shops and see if they do side projects. It will cost a decent amount over just a paint job but not horrible if the place is fair, but it will probably take a while especially if you are switching bodies completely.

Other wise you can check with street rod/ hot rod shops and go from there. You can save your self money by dismantling the interior and such and re-installing it your self, but make sure to keep very good records and organize the parts well. Bolts all start looking the same after a while.

Good luck, post some pictures up of the areas of concern and maybe can get you a better idea.

major concern is floor pans rotted out and i wanna sand down frame n repaint it run new fuel lines and brake lines while motor and body is off truck . The motor im gonna rebuild myself thats my specialty body work is not lol
