Re: Robert 1 Bully 0
Guys, I wish I had read the threads about the NHRA, and calling the track before. I didn't know the situation, so I didn't get into it.
Thats some real high class stuff though. Call the track on someone. Its a small event. Its nothing more really than pride involved. Have to elevate it to another level.
Claiming the guy street races. I didn't hear the Bully Sy do a decent pass in 2 days. Does anyone in that crew know how to tune or datalog ? The thing popped the whole 1/4 mile. Did the driver know if you stay in it, when its popping - you will eventually hurt the motor ? I guess they found that out when they later pushed the head gasket out.
Nationals is fun. Its light. A few people getting together and having fun. We never had any problems with tech. No problems with Hoovers and Guy running 10's. The trucks doing clean passes. Private event.
I can respect getting your personal car ready for NHRA tech, but then ratting someone else out, is not the way to win friends. It is a good way to gather some enemies though.
Roberts truck was a unique situation. The Bully Sy couldnt beat it on the track. There would have been no way it could have beat it on the street, so they resort to whining to try and win that way. They shouldn't have even showed up. Low class stuff.
