Well what do you know... I go to check my email today and what do I find but an email from Guy Re-negging on a deal I had set up with him over the past week... Once again Guy's innability to communicate or follow through in this case, messed shit up.. If Guy can not take the time to follow through for me, cancelling a ebay auction with one weeks advanced notice after funneling thousands through his buisness, personally I don't forsee spending any money through Rockford Racecraft ever again....
If you even look at the bidding history for Guy's auction you can see that no one bid on the item until Saturday... 4 days after Guy and I had made the original agreement of sale...

For those that are interested.. Read onward... I find it pretty revolting that one minute guy could care less about breaking our deal... Then when he reads my follow up email he suddenly cares enough about our previous agreement that he wants to buy me a new Aux IC... :roll:
Below is the 1st Reply I sent Guy once I read his email saying he sold the ATR Aux IC unit to another person after our agreement
Here's Guy's reply below to the email above...
After the sending the 1st reply I decided to let him know about this thread being that he doesn't find much time to check in on his customer base and all... :lol: Sent him the 2nd email a couple of minutes after the 1st email.
Here's guys response below to my 2nd email... I'm betting guy checked his email this morning.. replied to the 1st email... then saw the 2nd... Hence the change in his customer service.. :lol:
Finally just sent this off to guy about couple minutes ago....
Personally I think trust & respect is how you maintain a good relationship with a small tightly-knit community... So what have we learned today class?? Don't promise people one thing... do another... act like you don't care.. then backpeddle and try to kiss ass when you realize you don't like the response to your own actions... :wink: School is out.. enjoy your week...

I understand that most everyone who tries to reach Rockford Racecraft is unsuccessful. That I guess would fall under bad customer service. It could be worse. Not trying to say anything bad against McCoy, but did the whole motor issue get blow out or proportion like this has???? I don't think so. This has gone way to far.

Even since then I've still tried to help guy when I hear of people with contact problems.. I usually would talk with them and give them a better phone number and and ask that they don't give it out or post it...
Since the GP I still hadn't heard anything about a resolution in any of the contested matters... So still don't know who to believe entirely.. I figured the Aux IC was an opportunity to make a small purchase from RR to re-affirm my beliefs and previously good experience in RR.. Unfortunately that didn't happen... The thing that really struck me was guys email on monday morning...
It didn't say " I'm sorry.. I accidently sold the IC and didn't cancell the auction.. Here let me find another option for you" ...
Basically his email said "Hey Jamie I sold your IC that I agreed to sell to you for $50 more to someone I don't even know... tough luck.."
There was no mention of any means or attempt to rectify the mix up... just tough luck.... That says to me right there that if he's not willing to offer a solution for a mistake he made on a small purchase.. then how am I supposed to trust RR with a large one?? So I sent him the email replies..
And since guy made no attempt to rectify I though it necessary to post the experience I received... Sorry but I don't make accusations without proof to back it up and that is the only reason the emails were posted.... I don't dick over people that respect me and treat me with the same respect..
Offer of the new Aux IC was an attempt after the fact to basically try and shut me up... I didn't want the New Aux IC though.. Just wanted the used one with mounting hardware and the experience of saying I bought it and had a good transaction again with RR.... That did not happen... Anyways I've said my piece... going to get back to the better threads on syty.net.
