Rod Runs in Long Beach, WA

It's in 2 weeks. I'm just curious if anyone else is planning on going. I'll be out there most likely with my truck.

Usually it's the whole weekend, 9th 10th and 11th. It's pretty sweet. Just grab a lawn chair, sit on the side of the road with a hose. Wet the pavement and get people to do smokie burnouts! I was whipping out 3rd gear burnouts in my dad's Duramax. It was grand!

was it wet over that weekend? I was gonna go, but weather forecast made me want to stay home.

It only rained for about an hour on Saturday evening. And hailed! But the rest of the weekend stayed pretty dry. There weren't nearly as many people there as there was last year. Most likely from the gas prices.

There was a large hot rod show in Seaside Oregon that same weekend. I think most were there, I was and so was the crew from My Classic Car. Got to see the handlebar mustache and all.It was a great weekend.

I'm guessing your talking about Dennis Gage or whatever his name is. He showed up at the Long Beach Rod Runs I know that. I guess he's just making his rounds. You should have snuck up behind him, clip off his stach and try to sell it on ebay!
