I admit I dont have too many experiences to compare (notables being Syclones/Typhoons, 300ZX TT, 3000GT VR4, Mustangs) with but I wanted to gush about this Pantera:

Not only is it an incredibly beatiful and rare car...it's balls in your throat fast. It pulls *really* hard well past 120mph and roars like...what was it?...ah yes, a raped gorilla when you open'er up.

Even with the 14" tires traction was a major problem. We were squirelling between two lanes when DJ (owner) stepped on it even in 3rd. So far with me, this car is in a class by itself. Hopefully the Nationals will change my mind.

Anyhow this guy is in my town and is really nice and if you are a Pantera fan like myself you'd be silly to not take at least a glance at this vehicle. The Pantera is American Muscle in an Italian disguise....the coolest thing is you can work on this car yourself :)

Pantera is a car made in 70's I believe. Had a Ford engine.

Very similar styling to Diablo, etc.

Very nice looking cars IMO..

I know which pantera you're talking about, it kinda looked like a cheap ferrari, sort of?! I ran into a guy at a show who had the prowler body style with a 5 ltr and thought he said it was a Pantera.. Hey Methusula clear this one up..I'm curious...

I'm pretty sure Pantera's were Italian bodys w/ Ford Power. I'm thinking 351 Clevelands w/ 5 speeds. :D
