RPM header and SM solid motor mounts, Sm steering shaft fitment

Just want to give people a heads up out there so they don’t go through what I went through . If you decide to install solid motor mounts from Sportmachines be aware that the driver side lowers your motor about an inch further down. I Have rpm headers and the SM’s steering shaft and I installed the Right side Solid mount today and had to go back to stock because the the header was sitting on the shaft . They won’t work . Rough day today as I switched from stock to solid and then back to stock to clear the steering shaft . It wasnt even close to say the least . Heads up on that everyone

I recall there's a few different height Moroso SBC Solid Motor Mounts that can be used with any of the SyTy aftermarket frame pads that take either the solid or poly bushings.

Moroso 62500 is the shorter one.
Moroso 62510 is the middle one, about 1/2" taller at the mount.
Moroso 62515 is the tallest, about 7/8" taller at the mount.

The 62510 and 62515 are a hair narrower (1/8" narrower) at the tabs than the 62500, but I doubt that's an issue.

Thank you for the advice. I will look into that because as of right now I have a solid on the passenger side and Stock on the driver side

Yeah that's not ideal - the drivers side is the one that takes the beating.

I know but I have an engine strap on that side. Trust me I learned my lesson when I broke one of them on the launch . It was the original one though . This one is new but with the torque strap it barely moves
