Hi everyone i just took my ty down to a dyno shop last weekend and took the front propshaft off so i can run on the dyno_On around 17 lbs of boost i got 290hp and 376lbs at the wheels which i calculated to be about 347hp and 452lbs at the crank. My only mods are K&N Cone and cat-back exhaust.
Got a new fuel pump and adfpr with a custom chip. i was just wondering if anyone else had ran theres on a dyno?

I dyno'd my Syclone 2 years ago. It is bone stock. It pulled 292 RWHP and 404 RWTQ.

Here is a shot of it on the dyno.

Why u think my Gtech off?
You probably have never seen a Good tuned ty or sy before. Before u make comments like that u should know a little about what u talkin about. i have had about 18 months straight of chip work and am runin 19lbs of boost. There are guys out there with the same intake and exhaust mods as me and are runin lows 12's all day with just chip work.
But hey no offense.

Ghetto knows exactly what he is talking about, his truck is just a little faster than low 12s.

I think he is refering to the Math. 290hp at the wheels does not make a 12.4, in a Typhoon, is what I think he is trying to say.

Welcome to our board Asian, but knowing what you are talking about and who you are talking to may be some advice you surely can understand.
Good luck with the truck and let us know how your next trip to the dragstrip goes.
Later,

How come you haven't gone to the track once in those 18 months? 19lbs on pump gas after all that time isn't too impressive.

If you knew what you were talking about - you would know that G-techs are HORRIBLY inaccurate on SyTy's. If you knew what you were talking about, you would also know that Ghettosled could give you 15 cars and the move and beat you at half throttle before the 1/8 mile.

thanks for the clarification Darin. The dyno numbers and ET do not match up at all. Show me some 1.4 60fts and i might believe it is possible. Or maybe the truck weighs 2500lbs.

I'm all ears if you want to try and teach me something. Nobodys perfect.

i will agree that a gtech is not reliable, i have a totally stock truck and it says i ran a 13.3@103, ok well if i ran a 13.3 then stock is pretty dam fast..

I ran a 13.36 @ 97 MPH in my Sy and mine is stock, the only performance mods are a 3" stainless exhaust (big deal), a 160 thermostat (whoopty doo), and a flat drop-in K&N air filter (50HP right there!) and with bald 11 year old tires showing cords launching at 1.5 PSI max and knocking up to 4*. So I have a ways to improve yet look at my time already. So I beleive 13.3 in a totally stock truck.

I don't think the GTech ET is that inaccurate.. at home on a cold night with an ICY intercooler, my best GTech was a 13.14. At the track with the engine idling for 60 minutes straight on a 30* warmer day with a weaker launch, I ran only 2 tenths slower. So I'm not saying that this guy's 12.4 is accurate or anything but I am saying the GTech was a pretty good estimate for my truck & conditions. (Lots of fun too!)

Mine ran...
Ultimate Chip
T2-20 (EGR Disabled): 364.6 HP @ 4450 RPM and 486.3 FT-LBS @ 3700 RPM

This was at an AWD dyno. I never bothered to calculate the RWHP.
But as soon as I posted my simulated quarter mile times from the AWD dyno someone started talking shit. I was giving a local guy some shit (kidding around)for beating me by a tenth or two for having the best ET at the dyno...just joking around. He did his simulated 1/4 mile at the beginning with the truck cold. And mine was done after about 10-12 HP curves, engine really hot. Like I said I was just joking around, and then all the shit about the simulated 1/4 mile doesn't mean shit.....well you know how it goes....
LOL, I really don't care.
Good dyno numbers though.

Gtech numbers are going to be more inaccurater (yes I just said that  ) on a Typhoon than a Syclone due to the shorter wheelbase and the front end lift that occurs with a Typhoon.

Asian - I'm curious on the chip modifications you have done for your calibration...

Dooky, use some of that attention to detail you claim to harbor and notice
that Opleezz has a Typhoon. A 13.3 would be downright amazing.

G-tech is great for comparisons before and after mods, but has shown to be
in conflict with real dragstrip times.

I guess the best way would be to have your G-Tech hooked up when you take it to the track. Compare times - Badda-Bing!

how are you all getting those ET's. My car (supra) goes 13.4 everydamn time, but my speed it a lot high than all of yours 115-117 avg..... Is it the awd that does it?

What short time do you run, 2.3 60 foot?
Run a 1.7 and that 13.4 would be a low 12
seems every .1 in the 60 is good for @ .2 at the big end

And dont forget when comparing track to Gtech
track = avg mph of the last 60 feet
Gtech = your mph at the end on the 1/4
