This is the one I had mentioned in the other thread. For more info go to eBay internet finds here. IIRC the guy that has it now paid $2500 for it from the guy who was selling it on the ad that I posted.

Don't know if it's a simple typo, but he says it has 156k miles, when the carfax has June 2008 miles as 156k. 2k more miles almost 6 years ago.
158k in 2008. 156k now.

Ooops. I need to get my eys checked. The 2008 report said 158,000 miles. Now has 156,000 on the clock. Ticking backwards the last 6 years.

Re: s10forum: clean sgt

The odometer motor probably quit. There have been several threads on here regarding replacement of the motors, so this is not unheard of. 200K on an L35 in a lightweight pick up that doesn't tow is barely middle age. I had an L35 in an AWD 4door that worked its heart out towing, and is still running strong with over 300K on it.

Tough to be sure, but it looks like the RF bumperette is missing. Pricey part. He doesn't show pics of the areas of deteriorated paint he mentions. Some pics of the undercarriage, engine, and bottoms of the doors and tailgate would be helpful too. I'm an old skeptic, but when people don't show the whole story, I figure they're hiding something, and have to proceed carefully. especially on a long distance deal. I've been burned because sellers didn't disclose the "full story" prior to my making travel arrangements to conduct an inspection and deal.

But it looks like it has potential.
Missing bumperette, cracked dash, bedliner (prob shitty underneath) front bumper tweaked... there were a few red flags for me with this one. I remember It being for sale from the previous owner too. But it was a southern truck so I'm assuming rust is either minimal or non existent.
