Sawblade factory lugnuts

I just recently purchased a set of Sawblades. They came with the factory lugs and plastic covers. What confusing is there are 5 that are longer than the rest. My question is that are all the lugs short or are the mixed long and short. All the lugs that I got with the wheels are threaded to accept the plastic caps.

I only got one rear on for now because my compressor kept blowing my fuse box, but it looks great on it. I think im really gonna like the look when its done.

Re: Sawblade factory lugnuts

Normally they're all short, GM used the same 12X1.5 lug nut for almost the entire life of the S series truck and most middle 80's to current vette's . The ones that came on 2003 trucks were identical to the ones on 1987 trucks. It makes no sence to have only 5 different ones, they must have got mixed in somehow over the years.

Re: Sawblade factory lugnuts

Not at all. I paid $375. They came with original Goodyears. The fronts had 75-80% tread remaining and the rear 50%. The rims all were in great shape. I was very happy with the condition of the set. I would rate the rims a 9 on a scale of 1-10.

I almost bought another set for $200 but all the rims either were curbed or some other issue i couldnt live with. I found both sets locally on Craigslist. I would have to say, these are probably my favorite style for the Typhoon.

I remember GM changing the length of the lugnuts during the production of the C5's. I think they will all still work.
