Re: Sending Unit Harness
I wasn't able to find the one I took out of my '93 Ty. It may have been tossed. The one I replaced it with was an original GM from an Olds Bravada ('93 with digital dash even) I parted out. Although I don't remember what the harness letters were, I do know it was the same harness letters / #'s as the one in my Ty. I will be dropping the tank this week some time to put in a new walbro pump and will verify it then.
Dorman # 692-025 or a Spectra # FG03D is shown as a replacement sending unit for a Typhoon or Z code TBI. Blazer/Jimmy. For a W code CPI motor (like the bravada was,) it shows a Dorman # 692-004 or a Spectra # FG03A. Confusing because my Typhoon sender matched the Bravada sender pefectly. Sy/Ty motors are a Z code like a TBI because of no balance shaft but our fuel systems are a much better match to the W (balance shaft) motor.
Sorry for all the words and no answer to your question. I'll post the harness code as soon as I can though.
