well my lawyer read me the police report over the phone... so happens i guess the cop watched me merge onto the freeway... watched the sho pull up next to me, and watched us both pull away. the cop stated that he tried to keep up but at 110 we pulled away too fast .. (im sure...) seems odd because at 125 when the sho started to pull away i backed down to 70 and id say about 1-2 minutes later the cop flew past me.....

Doomdead, go visit mr rat in spokane, he appears to be speaking with a very level head, and from your story, unless they have video, which they might and you are entitled to a copy of, they really don't have dick.... 8)
ok you all wanted me to keep an update... its the 11th and i just got off the phone with my laywer... i have two options...
1) pay him the rest of the money i owe him ($400) goto court, and try and fight it, our word vs the cop.... if i loose then i still have to goto court for my prevoius one.....
2) goto jail for 7 days.... pay ($250....instead of $400) and go to a 2 year disposition at the end which i will only have a small ticket. those two years will end after my prevoius 2 years so i will be scott free.... also if i stay out of trouble for 2 years then i loost most of the tickets which i have on my record right now....
who thinks what? (i have until friday... im thinking of taking the jail time)... they would not give me home monitoring or comm.service.

If you have access to a GOOD lawyer that can get you off, I think a little debt is better than any outstanding tickets, insurance hikes, records, future hassles from cops when they pull you over, right?

Fight it, when I went to court and thought "ya I will just be a man and admit what I did was wrong" I got fucked in the ass for it. 13 months with out a liscnece, 700$ fine, felony on my record. Never just take what they offer you, use the lawer. you might be able to get out of it.
no what they originally offered was me pleading guilty, $500 fine and one night in jail... it goes on my record and then i ruin my 2 year deferral in shelton.... if i fight it it can go either way... if i loose.. i REALLY loose... if i say yea ill goto jail for 7 days and pay the $250 (will have to pay $400 if we goto trial, so i actually save a few bucks)... but it goes to a 2 year, and at the end of 2 years i get a traffic ticket... but that 2 years will be over after teh previous 2 years (duh).... and in 2 years most of my tickets wont show up anyways... im not really worried about points, i have 8 tickets on my record and my ins company knows about none of them.... a buddy of mine has 5 tickets and they know all about them... Shh
