Leaving work yesterday I pull up to a light before the on ramp for the Sure-kill expressway in Philly. Next to me is a newer step-side silverado with XTR badges, dual exhaust - yellow with two black stripes running down the middle. As I was looking at his truck he revs the motor a couple of times and I laugh at him. He keeps a straight serious face. So I shrug my shoulders and point down the road as to say "wanna race" . He nods his head. Now, I am in my completely stock typhoon sans intercooler pump but it's fairly cool out. The race will be a little less than an 1/8th mile so I'm like WTF.... build about 5 lbs boost , light turns red and the race is on... well sorta.... I heard some wheel spin from him but he quickly got outta of it when I jumped to a very quick lead. Later, I slowed down and let him pass on the right side but he wouldn't even look over. Douche bag. XTR? Did GM really make those and what are they? They look semi-aggressive but no balls.
