Singin' the Flex-a-Form Blues

Re: Singin' the Flex-a-Form Blues

Some digging on the Flex-A-Form site found this regarding spring warranty:

So your springs failed at 1000% of the warrantied time, and you're upset? Again, just want to make sure I'm understanding correctly here.
Igmo!

That's the warranty of today's new regime! That's not the last-springs-you'll-ever-buy (and far more reasonable) assurance I got from ol' George 10 years ago!!!

You and "Mark" would be perfect officials in any BANANA REPUBLIC of note... all of 'em think alike!

Many a DeSoto is languishing in its storage/junk lot with fully functional rear and front springs. Unless I'm buying consumable-parts for NASCAR or drag-racing, I expect any high-tech, STREET-PERF PART I get to have at least the same useful life as the factory component it replaces! If you think that's unreasonable... ungrateful... whatever... you have a lot to learn about technological progress!

'Nuff said.

When I bought mine 6 years ago from George, the website said the same thing. He must have changed that right before I bought mine...

Sorry, carry on.

Well, that's one offer! Why not just respond straight out in lieu of all the nastiness?

Open you eyes and compare your posts to everyone elses, you type like someone chopped your dick off and can't find the hospital and expect someone to drive your ass for no good reason.

You post like a dick, that's why people are laughing at you. Your text is bright yellow, 4X bigger than everyone else's, and you act like for some reason your problems are more important than anyoneone else's, they're not, your flex-a-forms broke, and Flex-a-Form was a shitty business when George DID answer his phone. I got 3 pairs of springs from him before he got me the correct size, and the process took seven months. Get off your chair and participate in the forum, don't come in here all whiny and bitch and expect magical answers to be handed to you on a platter.

This is a perfect example of how you expect everything to bend your expectations and needs without accepting the fact you're not taking care of your side of job and researching well enough. You can't complain about being ignorant, that's your own damn fault. I've seen plenty of thread on here about broken springs and the alternatives.

You need to realize that the factory suspension setup for a Sy/Ty is pretty shoddy, the leaf spring setup is extremely crude and lacks refinement that you find in other solid-axle cars. Simply popping in fiberglass leaf springs doesn't change the overall suspension geometry, design, or characteristics. This might come as a shock to you advertising doesn't always tell the truth. If you lived you life expecting every product to live up to it's advertising you'll be a regularly disappointed person.:rotf:

Damn! Such "wisdom" ...and from only 22 years on the planet!

I don't know whether to genuflect and slink humbly away or continue laughing my Hulk-like ass off. This new Forum is something else, and I'll leave the answer to your corporate Imagination.

It kills me the way some of YOUSE are not only unimpressed with such out-of-the-blue failures but actually seem to be looking forward to them!

Fortunately, as Lorena Bobbit's hubby found out, DICKS CAN BE RE-ATTACHED, and that must have been how the above-quoted screed got composed and posted!

you have some issues that you need to deal with, hopefully you'll deal with them outside of here. Honestly, no one here cares about your problems.

I will say that I feel the screenname was aptly chosen.
