i adjusted the TV cable to make the truck shift harder.it was shiftin hard all through the gears for about a week.then last night it started to act up.the problem is it doesnt shift like it use to. the 1-2 shift is REAL mushy,same with the other gears too.i didnt touch the TV cable or anything after i adjusted it.it just started shiftin like shit.
any thoughts?

From what I was told, you shouldn't use the tv cable adjustment to try to change the shift "feel" or shift points... You can burn up your clutches... I also read it on a GM technical service bulletin concerning the 700r4. It may be too late for you, but I would pull the pan and check for material... It probably wouldn't hurt to change the filter anyway...
