If those new 12" Camaro brakes will hold any better on the launch.
I pump the brakes in neutral, start pushing the throttle and WOW I am at full throttle and this thing aint moving! So I look over to my friend and say here we go! It launched like a rocket, pretty cool i say and i take him home (which was only a short distance). I take it home put it in the garage and go in.
Next day I'm greeted to this: Oh well whats a diff rebuild anyway

Post some pics during the rebuild and the damage it caused please. Sorry to hear about that, but at least you had that one good launch!

That sucks. At least you know your brakes work good.

Similar thing happened to me a couple weeks ago... Took the '93 Ty out for a spin and some fun, i.e. boost launches, and then parked it. Backed it out of the garage a couple days later and there was a quart of tranny fluid on the floor.

What's the story with this?

It's a friends we put together for the pro street class, been 7:51 still tuning. It's got a glide in it so its really tough to launch it, but were getting there.
