speedometer

Question: I know someone who is selling 91 blazer...speedometer does not work...GMC says it would be 300 plus dollars to pull dash and hook up/fix speedometer...any alternatives? Is it possible to hook up aftermarket speedometer without getting into dash...which kit would you use...any help much appreciated.. P.S. odometer wi works as well as other guages...

Speedo is not that hard to change, is it digital or analog. you should first check that it is the speedo and not the vs sensor at the transfer case or the wiring and all the fuses are good. If you need any further info email me and we can talk about it. -Scott
