Stock Rear end specs

What are the stock rear end specs. I know its an 8.5" Ring, but how many splines/bolts.

Ten bolt, 7 5/8th inch. Gimme a few minutes and I'll go out to the garage and count the splines on the old axles outta it.

28 splines, w most having a 3:42 ratio...Some were reported to have a 3:73

One other thing you need to know, the ring gear bolts are left-hand threaded....

He,he... found that out the hard way many moons ago on my first posi install... Shoulda seen the hand full of sockets I busted before I figured that out...
