im putting a set of Falken ze329 tires on my truck tomorrow in the stock size,i really like the tread design,ill let you know how they perform.

Yes let me know how they feel and look on your truck cause i need to get all four very soon and the firehawks are expensive, $216 a tire is nuts.. My Porsche tires were $280 each.. Thanks guys.

Gonna be getting Kuhmo Ecsta AST's for my Ty the beginning of October. My wife had these on her Mustang when we were dating and I was impressed with them. Hooked up great and a mean-looking tread pattern, IMO.

that BF Goodrich G-force Sport Comp 2 looks like a bad ass tire any prices on the 245/50/16?

I went with the all season bf goodrich gforce. The sport comp 2 had just come out and the first gen had a few bad reviews. I am very happy with the all seasons and I got mine from discounttire.com

I put some kuhmo on mine yesterday hoping to solve a vibration and they seem decent buy only time will tell and they were 550 out the door at discount tire with lifetime balance rotate haha het it rotate and road hazard

I just gave away 4 firestone wide ovals that came on my truck. Had 4k miles on them! :rant:

i like the falkens,nice tread design,pretty clean sidewall. i have a buddy that manages a Big O,and i got them for $85 each!. ill try and post some pics

The specs are the same for both iterations, and the tread pattern pretty much the same, too. I just got back from a quick drive in the Corvette tonight just to check balance, and they seem OK. I'm taking it to Phoenix in two weeks. Should be a good run to see how the new comp-2's are compared to the originals I'm so familiar with.

I ran these for autox for 2 years. Great tire, nothing bad to say. I would deff. buy again.

i have a set of those new BFG g-force comp 2s in 255/50/16 on Riken meshies..close to stock size. got them local for 125 each....they grip well,no tire noise. i like them 2k miles in.
i was running the Falkens 912(i think) before these..they were ok..hard/slippery tire,imho. they went about 32k to the wear bars.

Thanks for the photos Dave. now are those trucks stock height or did you lower them at all? cause i have vette wheels on my ty now while my stock wheels are getting redone and the truck sits high?
