Think I might have found a possible truck for me. Is this anybodys on here? Does anyone have any details on this truck? It's in Farmington, MO, about 3 hours away. Priced right in my range. Thanks for any help.

Yes! I have been trying to find one within about a three hour drive. This one looks to be in pretty good shape too.

Re: sy #2862

Can someone check out this ebay auction and tell me what they think of the truck from the pictures? The seller is not being much help when I have asked him questions about the truck. He gives me answers like it shift like it should, and you will not be dissapointed. I would list the link to the ebay auction but I can't from my work computer. It is listed under a GMC Sonoma. Thanks for any help.

The pictures suck. The crossover tube is funny. Either some tried to wrap it for heat or it broken and they tried to reinforce it. The Air filter is mounted funny as well Usually some just puts a K&N on the crossover tube. The only othermods I see is the boost guage and rerouted IC coolant lines. It probably priced in the ball park of what its worth assuming it drives well. You need to check the motor & tranny out and make sure the front suspension has been rebuilt.

Thanks for checking it out. If the guy doesn't respond well to my new batch of questions I am just going to let it go and pursue another truck. I should have jumped on MadMike's but I wanted to stay around $10,000. Oh well, live and learn.

Re: sy #2862

Everything seem to check out on the truck. I am going to try to negotiate a price with the seller as long as the vin check comes back good. Wish me luck!

Re: sy #2862

You have to check these Trucks out throughly before you buy them because a bad motor and/or tranny will be an angry buyer.

If you want to negoitiate $ that fine, but before you exchange money atleast personally or have someone else go through this list.

Re: sy #2862

I've gone through the steps once before on possibly buying one. I am bringing a friend with me to view the truck who is pretty familar with Sy's and Ty's. He is a GM Mechanic. I think I have all my bases covered. Thanks for your concern. I am excited to buy a Syclone, but I know I need to be carefull when buying one. Any additional tips you might have would be nice. Thanks again.
