Syclone 2649 No longer sitting in the dirt!!!!! Has a new home!

Hey all, I am the proud new owner if Syclone #2649. This is the one discussed last week or so. It was sitting next to a garage in the suburbs of Cleveland for a good few years at least.
I hired a flatbed to take it home, and started the cleaning.

Even though it sat out, the floors look fine, just a bit more rust underneath than you would want (still, no holes), and a lot of mud. I bought the car from the original owner, he had seat covers on the seats since day one. The car looks to have all of the original stuff, including original paint (other than the top 6" or so on the passenger side of the bed)

I have not yet tried to start it, but I did change the oil, hook up a battery and crank it. Cranked good, but want to get some fresh fuel in it first.

No pics of the Aspen, lol.....It does exist though.
To be honest with you, I do not think that he will let anyone take pics. When I picked up this one (last Thursday) he was contemplating even selling it.

I am also in the middle of a few projects, so not exactly sure when I will get this thing going (99% complete on a 70 Chevelle, and just about as far on a 87 Turbo T) but I do want to try to get it running soon.

My problem with the car (first issue) is that even when you take it out of park, the RR wheel is still locked. Its not brakes, as the drum will move if you have the wheel off, but acts like its still in park. Going to put it up on the lift and drop the pan.

Did you personally lay eyes on it? Did you happen to check the VIN number?

I "knew" what truck it was as soon as Brian told his story.I'm pretty sure it's legit,I mean with the story, the tailgate, and the Carfax.

Hopefully we will find out soon.

Thanks Guys!
Going to try to fire it up in the next few weeks. I will keep everyone posted.
I must say, for as few of these cars ever were produced, this forum is pretty busy. Looks like a pretty tight community. Glad to be a part of it. I remember sitting in one of these back in '91 at Gene Norris GMC hoping I would own one someday.
