For $500 any one of us would have bought it... I call B.S. on a craigslist ad! If there was one JIMMY would have found it!! :rotf:

Granted it is a Sy and there are some good parts on it, how else would he have gotten $4500 for that truck? It is probably too far gone to be resurected... It's sad to see it go and I hope that parts get saved, but that is a rough Sy. It should have been parted but that takes a lot of time and the facility to do. Needless to say, taking the easy way out was out probably the best option... I'm just impressed that one reached 225k miles!

Read the page. He advertised it on craigslist for $500, apparently, with no budges.
Motor was toast already.

I'll take a good guess and say the guy listed it on Craigslist for $5,000... not the $500 like his buddy says....and that's why there was no interest in the Sy.

Theres deffinatly an emotion that goes along with seeing another one get ereased off the list of existing weather the loss helps other trucks in need of parts or not. Parting it out only helps the mental factor of at least it wasn't a total waste with that said I hope to god that Sy gets stripped of all its rare parts. I shouldn't be throwin this in everyones face, but I dont have words to describe how I feel about this 93. Rust bucket or not, I would shit flippin bricks if I spotted this thing deteriorating at the back of someones driveway or somthing!
