if you both are in oak creek, and oconamowoc still, maybe you could come over this dreary rainy weekend and give me some insight on my sy.

, but i got a new tailgate today at the junkjard )
installing today, and fixing rear bumper support.

I live in New Berlin, my sy is sitting at my parents house with no trans and my dads ty is sitting with no front tires currently(got new tires just haven't put on truck yet), parents live in waterford.

ive heard of both but cant place them right now.
i put on my new tailgate from the junkyard,(i got lucky and it was already black)
and i straitend out my rear bumper support, and brackets.
then primed and painted them.
oh well atleast if its broke, i can make it look better sitting there!!

New Berlin is by brookfield/wauskesha area, and waterford is south in racine county about 30 minutes from new berlin. My place is 5 minutes from the i-94 moorland road exit. I've never been to sun prarie but I know its about an hour drive to madison.
My daily driver s-10 has taken its toll with winter so I think this winter I am going to try and do the body work and paint it this winter, it may be slow but it will look good. I've helped my dad do that kind of stuff before but I want to see how much of it I can do.

I haven't been on the SYTY site for quite awhile, or I too would have replied. I live in Belleville (15 minutes from Madison). I have a 93 TY "In storage" as well. I hope to get her up and running correct this spring. I had the typical stuttering problems two years ago, and after replacing everything I could think of gave up. I would love to get together with some other SY/TY enthusists, Beer/Hooters ect.... :tup:

pakes engine machineing in janesville wi is a good shop with quality work.:evil: stay away from midwaest engine exchange in madison, there just con artists that wanna take your money.
p.s. jimattison..... i would love to get together fo a beer/hooters meet this summer.
or a winter beer/hooters shoot the $hit get together.
the only two that i know of are in madison, and in janesville.
the madison one would be a kind of central meeting place.
id really like to talk to tooky cat from milwaukee.
i met him at great lakes about 2 years ago, and didnt know who he was, but now i do. :tup:

Only 2 places in our area I would trust would be
Borchardt speed in greenfield or
Waukesha engine(engine rebuilders) in waukesha
I am very good friends with borchardt and he does awesome work, and like I said in your other post I would recommend having him do the short block that way you know all the clearances will be perfect unless you have some real good tools.
Oh and don't forget theres a hooters in greenfield off highway 76 :lol:

I know this post is getting old, but I dont surf the board much around the holidays.
I have a Syclone, and live a few minutes NW of Green Bay. We should try to put together some sort of gathering for spring or summer. Any suggestions??

that would be great!! i belong to a car club called the road apples, out of sun prairie wi.
they have a cruse night every tuesday in the summer, at culvers in the east town mall parking lot.
they would absolutely FREAK!! if we all showed up at the same time with like say 10+ sy/tys!!
you dont have to join to be at the car show/ cruse night.
but if you want to, you can, its only $10 for a year, and youll get that back in discounts at culvers alone, the first time you eat there.
we used to be at sun prairie wendys, bt we have since outgrown that site.

cool. it doesnt matter what tuesday we pick, whatever day everyone can agree on , and the most people can be there.my syclone #569 is broke right now :x
it needs a motor, but im hoping that by spring ill have a millhouse in it, i hope to take it to sy/ty nationals.also, i will be riding half of the hot rod power tour down from milwaukee the 4th of june, to the 6th-7th i think??
then cutting over to kc for the nats, on the 10th?? :tup:
