thinking about a bigger turbo.....

i was thinking about getting a pt 52 turbo for my typhoon....how much will this do performance wise????? will i have to do anything to set my engine up besides downpipe, wastegate....thanks alot....

It could do a lot for your truck, but then again if your basic tune up, tranny, intercooler, chip, fuel pump, isn't up to par I wouldn't even bother. Personally I'd get the truck running strong numbers (high 12 in a ty, high-mid 12's in a sy) in mostly stock mode and then make the upgrade.

i'd say for most peoples trucks a low 13 is more realistic in stock trim. Some are just stronger then others. BUt MArk is correct. Make sure everything is functioning properly, and knock is to a minimum. A PT52 will do wonders for your truck if it is ready.
