dude, im in the same boat as you. yesterday i was on the phone with the napa guy for about 20 minutes trying to figure this out. we came up with 3 part numbers: 12352, 12357, and another one that i cant remember. he said that monday morning he would call his distributer and find out for sure the correct part. i got no info on prices.
also yesterday, i decided to pull the propshaft. i was able to get 7 of the 8 bolts out within 2 hours. (i think this could have been done much faster had i had better quality tools) but there was ONE DAMN bolt that REFUSED to budge  it took me about 5 hours of tourches and vice grips and wrenches to finally decide to get a saws all and decapitate the damned thing.
i put a few miles on the truck and am going to put a few more on tomorrow and see what happens. a problem that i had from time to time since the shaft went bad was a clunking sound when i turned. it doesnt do it everytime but when it does it, its gotten much worse since i pulled the shaft. someone said that could be the gears in the front diff binding up. this makes sence but how bad is this actually? also, dont expect an amazing rwd syclone when you take it out...its not, its sloooow.
and as for waiting for the aftermarket shafts or not, this is a part that NEEDS to be on the truck for my own piece of mind and so i cant wait possibly months for brandons shaft to come back out again or to save up some more money for the other guys shafts. im gonna go with the napa part and when the time is right to get the better one i will, UNLESS someone can tell me FOR SURE when they are gonna be made again.
man that was long...sorry
