What are the signs of a trans goin bad.

Does your Tranny feel like it is slipping when it changes gears? What is yours doing?

If it doesn't move - chances are it is bad.

I hope you didnt break that nice truck, basically if it fells like you can eat lunch between gear changes its slipping.

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I didnt do anythign to the trans... Im just being over catious. I just want to know the signs of the syty trans when they do start to go. I just want to make this TY perform the best it can and by being overcatious is a good start.
Also an aftermarket heavy duty trans cooler was just installed for extra protection...

Your fluid starts to turn brown and get a funny/bitter smell. In otherwords it's not pink anymore.

the usual sure sign of a bad trans is the owner will post a question here asking about symptoms of a bad tranny. hey why not everybody else is

no again my trans is in no way messed up. i just like to know what to look for, and also i want my TY to be its best..
