Transfer case was removed because it was leaking bad. I was checking and filling it periodically with ATF I split the case and sealed it up with RTV. I have not filled it back up with fluid yet. Everything from what I could tell looked really good inside. It has less than 50k miles on it. Im super analytical and I just thought it sounded loud. Is this thing okay or did I damage something when I put it back together? I don't know what they should sound like and I didn't listen before I took it apart. Can you over tighten that big nut that holds the wheel on? Here is a video of how it sounds on the work bench after I have it back together.

Normal. It's a pretty hard case to mess up so if you cleaned it and were careful, I'm sure it's fine.

Fill it with ATF and witness the smoothness :)
