Hi and thanks for looking. I am in the process of purchasing a typhoon. A few issues but the current owner sates after a long drive, she does not want to start again. He said he wrapped the starter (heat sheild) and it did not fix the issue. Any thoughts on what else it could be?

Does it crank and not start or just nothing when you hit the key? If it's nothing then the purple wire to the starter solenoid is toast. It's a 5 buck fix if you do it yourself.
You reached out to the locals? I'm pretty sure we have a Midwest forum around here somewhere.There might be a member from here that is close by that can help you out /inspect the truck before you buy it.
