Trying to find my old Ty

I have not been to this sight in a while, actually since I was forced to give away my ty. My job required me to go on a long road trip and the Ty was running a bit funny. 2 yrs later I think it was bad plugs and wires but I was not allowed the time to look into the problem. At the time this was my everyday driver. Nothing special missing cladding FUN as hell! I've started checking back into this site hoping to find another Ty; however now Iwould like my old toy. It was Ty #1183. I traded it in at Luther Westside Volkswagon in St Louis Park, MN in March of 2004? I only recieved $1500 for trade on a 2003 VW 1.8T GTI. The VW was fun,but it's long gone.I'm starting to miss the Ty. If anyone has carfax they may Know where the Ty is. I hope that it has not been parted out somewhere. The VIN# is 1GDCT18Z7PO811183. If it has not been parted out I hope it found a good home. If anyone can help that would be great. Thanks in advance. Nate

Hey Nate, I used to work for Burnsville VW (also a Luther dealership) and I'm guessing it was probably brought to the auction, Carfax is probably your best bet, or try calling your salesperson, they may know (if they're still around) Good luck, and if you find it email me and we will go to St. Paul and cruise....

Thanks for the response, close on Justins only one year off. Now the cafax report states that it was registered a year ago in MN. I wonder if its still on the road?
