Warning! Sorry long post
Well after seeing everyone saying how good turbolink is for buicks and the way it is setup I really liked it. When I saw the cheap price I decided to buy it and got it a few days ago. Now here is the problem, I installed it on my laptop, its a 1-2 year old dell with lots of bells and whistles so I know the laptop is plenty for the program to run. Well we are trying to make sure everything is okay on my dads recently purchased typhoon so we hook it up, start driving and come to a stop and it is idling high and we are thinking its never done that before. Well when doing like 25 mph and letting off the gas it would stay at 1600 rpms. Well while driving I am getting familar with the new setup and notice the o2 crosscounts and staying at 0-2 which I am thinking is very low, okay so maybe it needs an o2 sensor? So we stop for gas and put it in park and idle is 1200 so we left it running to see if it would set a check engine light, nope idle came down to 750. Then we start going home and notice the ilde is like it should be, but the crosscounts are still screwy. So we stop at home and it was idling awesome better than ever before so after letting it idle for 20 seconds all of a sudden rpms go back up to 1200 so we unplug the cable and idle slowly goes back to 750.
Well to see if it was the ty or the turbolink I hooked it up to a friends ty last night and the second I plugged the cable in the idle went to 1200 and I did not even have turbolink running yet.
Has anyone had this problem? Also on my friends ty the o2 crosscounts were 0-2 but in datamaster they are normal just like my ty.
If anyone would like I can email a zip file of the turbo link. I posted here first but plan on contacting turbolink to see what they say.
Other than the problem though I really like it the layout is very nice and the help for the malf code is real cool. Thanks for any help in advance.
