PB blast works awesome on rust, WD40 is not nearly good enough for the tough stuff.


You are making me dread removing mine next month.
What size are the bolts anyways?
I'm not buying a whole set of stubbies

I would highly recommend non-offset stubby rachet wrenches. They made it soo much easier when I had to chage my turbo.

my stock turbo did the same thing nut comeing off when i pulled the intake tube off there the nut was the truck smoked like a bittch i had 104.000 on mine when it went out , mine went out at the track i think i over supn it i replaced mine with a 20g 14cm bolted right up

Did you do any damage to the motor? I'm hoping the intercooler stopped most of the turbine pieces from getting sucked into the motor. Still haven't installed the new (used) turbo yet. Went with a stock replacement.

no did no damage that i could find runs great but i didnt drive it much after it started somkeing
