You remind me of myself 2 years ago. I want a chip to go faster. Let me tell you thats the quickest way to have your truck go BOOM!!! Make sure your truck is 100 percent before attempting anymod or tune. Check Recheck your Vac Lines, Ignition System, then when your done. Check it again. Then get someone that knows these trucks to verify and check for you. Then proceed slowly. Just my two cents. Hope you take my advice or your truck could end up on jackstands for awhile. Welcome to .net There is a wealth of information on this site. Use the Search has saved my butt many times. Also visit the vault. There are people here that have shared there knowledge some have been doing it 40 plus years!! Learn from them.. To me they are Like Jedi Masters.

What Ty did you buy? Post up some pictures.
And are you having trouble with it running, or just want to upgrade it. I'm a couple hours away, but have a decent understanding of how these things work. Also have data master, easy way to tell what is going on if you are having problems.
