Im looking to install the motor from a typhoon into my 93 s10 pick-up. anyone have an idea of what all i need to grab from the donor. I already have the complete motor, ecm, harness, manifolds, turbo. No inter-cooler due to condition of donor, but converting to a2a anyways.
Thanks in advance.

If it is a 4.3L truck it should be plug and play with what u have.

the typhoon had front frame damage so the cross member is a no go. im using all aftermarket gauges. and the s10 was a 4.3 auto tbi truck. i plan on reusing the stock trans, already beefed up. Can i reuse my stock throttle cable? cable was cut when they pulled the motor

I'm had already planned on swapping the oil pan and pick up for one for a 2wd truck anyway.

A friend of mine did this same swap many years back and then he made the truck a convertible and covered the top with that clothe rag top look. It was purple and this nice looking blue, the purple was called goofy grape and it looked like the truckspeed thru a wall of this light blue paint with the effect of it running down the sides of the truck. That truck was awesome, but it just spun the tires at will and forever. Enjoy you will love it.

Thanks for the help. I plan on doing more research. My main focus was finding what all was needed because the donor truck was set to be crushed tomorrow.

I would grab every part I could off the donner. It is easier to recycle left over components after the swap is completed.
