Typhoon rear window leak

When it rains heavy, water seems t collect in the plastic trim that covers the rear wiper motor.

Window gasket doesn't look/feel bad. I've cleaned it since there was a dirt buildup that I thought could have caused a sealing issue.

IDK. It rains, I forget and open the glass a few days later and get water poured on my head. It's not a lot. Only a couple of tablespoons I guess. I think I'd like to just get rid of the rear window wiper all together but need new glass....

I wanna ditch my rear wipers as well but id also want to know the source of that leak itd remove the plastic cover on the inside and use a spray bottle and spray around the hinge are and seals a to see what i could find

I didn't think of the hinge. I figured it would be the wiper arm or the weather seal or something. I will check that.

Yep looks like it was leaking from the mounting bolts. Both sides. You could see the water marks on the black parts of the glass. Sealed with silicone. Of course now it won't rain lol
