Typhoon ride quality?

I drove a 92 Ty the other day. It rode like a tank. Is that how they are? I really would like one of these, but not if they ride that rough.
My Camaro SS rides rough, but even it felt 90% better. Just curious.

Thanks
Doug

Can't speak for Morgan but mine is great. I still am at stock ride height with Bilstein HD's and Gabriel HJ's.

Very stable at speeds up to 120 mph and plush at all times. I have owned many different rides from Porsche 911's, 356's, a Z-28 and a few ricers. The Ty is a great compromise.

It has 63k. He said it had "bags" in the rear that could be pumped up. They were down when I drove it. Also said he had the bilsteins on it. just seemed really rough comapared to the SS, and I thought it was rough.

Anyone looking to trade a low milage smooth riding Ty for my Camaro?

Yours sounds like it was running lowered as well as time taking its toll on suspension parts(bushings, shocks, and springs).
I was chasing rattles, putting up with the rear suspension bottoming out over rr tracks, the parking brake cable smacking the ATR exhaust on uphill slopes(as well as touching the cladding), rear hatch squeeking, etc. I put in low mileage leaf springs from a 92 Ty(thanks Daron), new HD Bilsteins front and rear, new polybushings throughout, raised everything back to stock height, replaced broken torsion bar mounts, new upper lower ball joints, idler arm, and cleaned everything up and zip tied the parking brake cable to the axle housing. MAJOR difference. Took about 2 weeks to do all of it working 4 to 5 hours a day. Quiet(except for the rumbling exhaust)and rides soooo nice on the highway. It does have too much sway when going around corners for my taste. I have an ATR rear anti sway bar. I'll be cleaning it up and installing it with PROPER length endlinks when the weather warms up or I get my garage done. With the vehicle at ride height they should be perpendicular to the ground. NOT angled steeply forward like mine was before I tore everything off. Previous owner was very hard on the truck to say the least.
