Ultimate or 10n1???? Which is it?

Ok the seller says I have to use a 3 bar, but 10n1's do use 3 bars.....RIght??? Ok secondly it has the Radar box, and the cable is hard wired to it, with the older style key, but the box toggles through more than 17.5 psi. Matter of fact it has the three T1-T3 timing curves, but the boost numbers go well into the 20's. I thought the 10n1 stopped at 17.5?? OK, someone help me out here. What do I have? A bad 10n1, or a good Ultimate, or does this version of the 10n1 require a 3 bar. If so, how come it isn't advertised as such? Man, I'm going crazy!! :rant:

I bought this truck and the link is down, i have read a bit but dont know if i have a 3 bar or 2 bar in the truck and what chip i have!! please help!!

Links still work fine for me just like that link that I PMed you for the power window motor replacement a few days ago ;)...

With regards to MAP sensors:

"MAP sensors, stock 2 bar on left #16009886 and 3 bar on right old number is #16040749 new # is #12223861. On the topside where the plug connects, there is a number for identification. 1 bar MAP=039, 460, 876 or 883. 2 bar MAP=012, 539, 609, 701, or 886. 3 bar MAP=749 or 861. The 4 digit number to the right refers to the date of manufacture "1100"= 2001, 100th day of the year."

Can't you just turn your ignition on while the car is off and if the stock boost gauge goes to 5psi then you have a 3 bar map in? If it stays at 0 ( right in the middle ) then you have a 2 bar map in. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Well i looked and there is a 3 bar map, when i try to use the link i get a site warring that says
"ABOSS, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: BLAH BLAH BLAH " can a MOD help me with access to the link. When the key is in the on position the boost guage is @ 0 psi

thanks for the info, I will be making a custom ash tray to hold it and other switchs like the one i seen here on this site.

So what can you still buy from this place, it looks like everything is discontinued except 1 chip, is that right?

Correct. The 10n1 chip has been discontinued due to difficulty in obtaining key components.
