vacume ball under battery help

i am cleaning up my engin bay with a air to air and re routing a lot of the wires to be hidden and have the fender well totally open with nothing in the way and there is a vacume ball under the battery do we need this? or can i just plug off the line and ditch it ?

the vaccumn ball regulate vac pressure and distributes to give power to the a/c, if you dont have a/c "yank it" ,if you do i am not exactly sure what will happen just make sure to plug the line,duh!

The ball us there so that under heavy load A/C, heater won't switch to defroster outlets, from say dash or floor. Has nothing to do with vac for engine controls.

It's the official SyTy pool toy! Pitch it! But if you don't have the heart to get rid of it, route it under the front pass side of cladding and zip tie it to fender support. That's where mine is. I figured that GM put it on the truck for a reason so it might, I say again, might be important. We all know how GM is sometimes.
