Video of my truck on AWD dyno

Here is a movie of my truck on our local AWD dyno chassis:

The movie is 4.77 MB in length. It might be faster if you right-click on
the link and choose "Save Target As..." to save the movie to your local
hard drive. Then crank up the volume to listen to the sweet sound of the
Borla exhaust and the whine of the stock turbocharger.

The video and audio are GREAT!!

What were your AWHP & AWT numbers without the driveline loss correction? What factor was used for driveline loss?

Based on the graph of your results, it looks like the RPM @ peak HP is close to the advertised number for the stock motor. The peak torque occurs at a slightly higher rpm than stock, however.

You mentioned a 5200 RPM govenor - looks like the HP and Torque curves are starting to nose over at your ~4500 RPM cutoff. I'm not sure you will notice much improvement by going to a higher RPM. Maybe more boost and timing will change that somewhat??

Anyway, thanks for sharing this info with the group. Good luck on future tests and I'd be interested in your results.

Howard,

I have a bigger cam in my truck, and peak horsepower and peak torque come later in the powerband, around 5000 rpm or so. This is why I have to go with the 5200 rpm governor.

Holy White Typhoons Batman!!!!!!!

You guys must get the looks having 4 of you white/white guys cruising down the road.

I assume those white mirrors are just the stockers painted? I really like the look of those.

Great looking trucks.
