weird problem.

Hey guys. I will try and be as clear as possible here. I just had a new tranny put in and this what happend when i first got on it hard. I was driving back from my girlfriends house when a amg e55 started with me. I was in D. So i was in like third gear when he started with me so i mashed it. It downshifted and then you heard the motor accelerate but it would not go past a certain rpm. It was almost like it had a governer on it and to top it off the tranny would not shift out of that gear. It was like vrrroooommmmmmmmm and just stayed there. The m meaning a steady rpm range. Does this have to do with the tranny?

i found out what it was. It was the fp line. It fell off and caused the problem. I won off the line by about 12 cars. I don't think he knew what i was in. He did not try until i was gone. Then my truck fell on it's face.

well i guess if your fuel pressure line fell off, you better pick it back up off the ground and stick it in the back of the truck. who knows, you might decide you actually need that part one day.
