OK, I've decided on the rims I want and I'm 99% sure I won't change my mind. The same rims in the picture above are Racing Hart C5s and they look TIGHT!

Now I just have to figure out what offset and backspacing I'll need with the 17 x 9.5" rims on all 4 corners. They run about $500 each.

i thought i read somwhere that Racing Hart said not to use them on these trucks, and or they didnt recommend it. i tired to look for the post, but couldnt find it. i belive it was jamie lopez that said that.

yeah .. good memory you have there... Brian Wise... haha... yeah i contacted the distributor...was roughly 2 years ago.. can't member who it was...
they were familiar with our trucks.. said the racing hart C5's were more of a "show" wheel than a race wheel... something about the wheel not being made for the tolerances exerted when racing... could give em a try.. but if they wouldn't recommend it.. then there's probably a reason why...

hope this helps...

those spinning wheel .... i know where to get them and who made them..

Latrell Spreewell of the New York Nicks has a race shop in LA

"Spreewell Racing".. he and his partners invented those.. and they are way expensive for a reason.. they only want true "playa's" to have them..

its located in the 310 area code.. and its where most of the lakers go to get their rides pimped out.. that and "310" customs.. but dont go there looking for a deal.. prices are about 400% increased..

Davin wheel Invented those wheels.
Sprewell Is a Distributor for them
A full set will run u about 10K
I just sold a set for a 2002 X5
Its a quality wheel, bad ass also.

and those arent the only wheels that cost that much. 20" studed brabus would run u 10k 2 years ago. 22" lowneharts depending on where u go will run u that much.

Its good being in the wheel business.

spinning wheels are neat. 10k for neat..

Mike down here with the racing harts.. his truck has alot of mods, but ive never seen him drive it faster then parking it at a show.

awesome truck.. bitching wheels. its crap if a "racing hart" wheel cant stand the tolerances of racing. I've liked the company up till i read that.

He had the rears custom done, but Im not sure if thats just because he didnt want to use a spacer or for what reason.

I give you 10 minutes with em on the truck before you start looking at the rear drums with a little bubble over your head filled with cross drilled rotors.

Sell Out
If you like the look of the Racing Hart - talk to Al Dustin about Volk Racing Wheels. They have some very nice wheels. I was looking at the GT-P - about the same price but they will hold up - or so I am told.
