I was just wondering what you and your trucks have been up to since the Canadian Nats?, I picked up another Typhoon #0245 originally built by 0260IN3,i got a great deal on it and it was loads of fun while it lasted :tup: on my way

home from my lake it developed a engine knock which can be expected for changing hands as many times as it did (i am the fourth owner since it was built) , i pulled it out and tore it down #2 and #3 main bearings had spun, i

dropped it off at Campbell Automotive and now it is back to 100%, now to get it back in and ready for for this years Nats, no more 15 second runs for me :rotf:

I can't wait to see that truck at the track. I bought my first ty and plan on leaving the engine alone until I decide what I am going to do with my track car. I am just looking forward to driving something a little different than what I am used to.

I just picked up my first Ty, it's the Japan import one that was brought in by Tony and Nolan. Plans for now are paint, new rims and tires (anyone want the 17" Budniks that were on it?), and some other things. I have plans for the truck, but we'll see how far I actually get with them. I'm not new to the car scene, I've beat my head against Talons and Eclipses for the last 15 years, I finally figured out what pieces of shit they really are. I also got tired of the stigma that was attached to them.

Us Edmonton guys should get together one of these days, seems like there's a bunch of us.

Cool to see an old time DSMer. I kinda got carried away with mine that I can't drive it on the street any more so I got the Ty.

You guys are lucky to have Campbell Automotive close by. We got nothing.

I recognize your name, Callran. I was active on the ca.dsm.org site but got frustrated with the childishness. The only DSM site that I still am active on is NABR. Have been for a long time and always will be. A kid offered me 16K for my 97 AWD (forged 6 bolt, 272's, FP3052, FMIC blah blah blah) so I took it and ran. An auto AWD is the only thing that would get me back into DSM's, but it'd be twisting my arm pretty bad.

Now I get to be frustrated with a Typhoon! I've always been a chevy guy from way back, so it'll be a refreshing change to bleed on something new.

Good for you. I'd be lucky to get 10k for mine. Trade one money pit for another and go through a love\hate relationship once again. Haven't been active on ca.dsm for a couple of years. Always checked on NABR for tech info since back when Dennis was around.
