I'm trying to find time to get the truck running 100%. Need to pull the plugs and figure out why I'm blowing out spark, change the injectors and fuel pump, etc...

I'll be there, truck or not. I'm trying though :?

Yup. I went to Bandi's site for the dates. If we can make it, I'll have to bring the vid cam for sure. Was pretty fun the last time I went... way back in 2004. :lol: When Ry got kicked out for going too fast. That was back in the day when it was still Will_In_Denver. :lol:

:2cents: Hopefully going up! My buddies v8 Typhoon is still down, but i guess i'll roll along with him in Peterbilt he gonna be racing to check out some local Syclone action!


Does anybody remember a guy named Strube or Strubie....he has a Syclone with a little stroker(3.75) aluminum headed beast that runs on a stand alone system. The last time i saw him run was 03 and was running some easy 11.50-11.70's.......anyways he was from the Longmont area and just wondering if he was still around?


Keep an eye out for one of my old Sy's...i guess the new owner(brad) ran a few 12.8?'s with a hundred hit last year and told me he's bumping it up for this year(the truck is still mostly stock with spray)! :tup:

We're still not sure when we'll make it down, but we're planning on being there at some point.

We're not going to make it. We went out to dinner and a movie tonight and our Volvo died and wouldn't stay running after that. We waited an hour and forty-five minutes for a tow truck to take us back to Greeley.

I will be spending the better part of tomorrow trying to figure out what's wrong. If I can't it will stay in the repair shops lot until it's fixed. :rant:

Well, the turnout was kinda disappointing, but I still had fun. Nice to see some familiar faces, and even some new ones. Total count was 3 Ty's, 1 Sy, and at least 2 owners with broken trucks. All four trucks made it to the second round, but the other 2 Ty's went home because they weren't happy with the way they were running. I wasn't either (best time of 14.5 @ 92), but I tried to stick it out, just to be eliminated in the 2nd round. Man these trucks are hard to bracket race with (when trying to get a good time too). The Sy made it to at least the 3rd round. Not sure how far he went though :dunno:

Like I said before, I was disappointed that there weren't more of us there, but it was still fun.

Im thrilled that I didnt go. My FP died out again and I checked out the fuel filter which seemed pretty nasty but even after I changed it out it died again on my way home. The tank is coming out tomorrow. Plus after you told me about the 117* temps Im redally glad I didnt go.

Man...it twas hotter that chit yesterday!!!!! Brads Sy went to the semi-last round and got knocked out.


My buddys 2000 Peterbilt went 17.6@85 mph for the fastest time ever for a semi style type truck. I wish he had the v8 Ty running for this event to rep the sy/ty guys a little more.

What was everyone else running? Anyone in the 11's or 12's?

My Ty was still down. Found out the hard way the rear springs are a bitch if the bolts are rusted to the sleeves.
