Woodward Dream Cruise August 18th, 2007

Here's the deal guys! Woodward has always been one of my favorite weeks. It truly has become a week long event. I am thinking about doing something a little different this year. I am toying with the idea of having a meet Friday night, instead of Saturday. Friday night they shut it down around 9-10ish though.

If we do end up deciding we want it Saturday and don't like the idea of Friday night, then I will only be reserving spots until 9:00 AM on Saturday, and after that you are on your own.

Let me know your thoughts!

I may be down for friday night as this year I may not be able to make a saturday meet!! It just depends on what plans are set out.

i voted for saturday. but i am not sure i will attend this year at all. bham and royal oak have made such a point of saying they dont want woodward to be a cruise spot all summer....

.......and to that point, i have been to woodward twice this year. once with each truck. both times i got tickets. both for equipment defect. i was just creeping around 40-45mph, never laying into it, as i knew cops were looking and this was around 8pm not at all too late.

So, what are we going to do?

Either one would be O.K. with me.

If we get together Friday I probably wont bring a SY/TY down Saturday.
I'd drive the jeep and park it on a side street.(wouldn't do that with a SY/TY)
I would spend the day walking around trying to see everything.

I will be up there Weds the 15th at the Moose Preserve to see the GN's most likely, and then probably be out there Friday night too. If its nice Saturday I will bring the Sy out. I will still reserve our spots Saturday on the side of the Henry Ford Clinic.

I'm about 50/50 on making it. I just bought a new house recently so I really need to save some money and get the old house ready to sell, but who knows, maybe i'll make an appearance.
