I'm not that familiar with the Vortec but I would tend to think that the sensors and transmission of the SY/TY might lead to some differences in the harness. Converting to newer 4.3 harness with a 0411 PCM will is doable but is more work than replacing a SYTY harness.
The newer harness uses a crank sensor which you would have to retrofit. Injector harness and some sensor connectors would have to be converted.

Ask and ye shall receive. I appreciate the responses. Actually just missed one on eBay but maybe I can be more specific about exactly what I'm looking for.
I'm building a a SyTy motor for a 68 C10 I'm restoring that'll be backed up by a T56. If I can go a little something other than NOS I'm down since it'll be modified a bit anyway. It'll be running a factory ECM but custom chipped.
Open to suggestions, especially if anybody see me running headfirst into a wall...
