WTB: Shifter bezel light socket

Looking for the light socket to the 194 bulbs in the shifter bezel. Both of mine were broken and glued into place. GM thinks they can order them for me, at $30 each!!! And all the parts stores dont have anything exactly like it. I did get some 1/2" twist lock sockets to work, but it "could" short out if the stars align.

Let me know if you have any, may be a entire harness that comes off IDK....

The bezels can be gotten from corvette parts places, wonder if the light setup are.

I had looked at some camaro bezels, and they are a 1 light setup vs our two from what i saw. But it could be the same plug/socket. The search continues. Thanks

I have a center console harness, I'll go check to see if the light sockets are good.

I just ran out into the shop and dug them out. The clips that lock them in place are broken off and they're electrical taped to the shift indicater. Sorry I tired , thought I could have helped you out.

My '95 Jimmy uses 194 bulbs in the side markers. One would think the sockets would be interchangeable. A trip to the junkyard may yield a cheap alternative.

same connector was used in corvettes , ebay has the full harness at 30 ish bucks, or dealer I have not had any luck finding them aftermarket, switch to LED bulbs the heat from the 194 kills then connector

I'm going to change all the interior lights to led. Already ordered a bunch to get started, see what works and how i like them. I just wanted to find the stock connections for it, I will check eBay for the corvette stuff. Thanks

I have a harness here but the connectors are starting to get brittle , surprise, Im resonably sure fieros, and 3rd gen camaros used the same connectors too
