Just a few pictures of some interior work i did on my 92 Ty

When i got the truck the interior had surely seen better days, Had a few different alarms ( pulled out piles of wiring ) a few holes from Leds from the Alarm, a hole from an Aquamist setup, and a few holes from a remote bass boost to an amp

The trim coloring was all scratched and worn and i wanted to find a way to add some modern touches to modernize it.

Getting ready for some color

I also had to rebuild the steering column due to some scum trying to steal it :tdown::tdown::tdown::rant::rant::rant:

I dont use spray paint on anything so i had to mess around with a few different grays and had to play around with the Matte clear to get the finish just right

Heres the column piece, and ash tray

Under dash trim

No more red light, and some color

Heater controls all cleaned, painted, and reassembled

Center console with some carbon

I have a little red led on my driverside controls...did these have factory alarms?

Not factory. That looks like a Directed Electronics LED.

Harmon it is the 3m di noc, that would really look great in your truck but I know you have a custom dash

Gno I'm lucky and my dash and door panels aren't cracked but I'm workin on another Chevy project that does have a cracked dash that I'll be repairing soon and I can post up a step by step repair process for you

Im impressed by the interior repainting. Do you have pictures of it all put back together? Those little alarm lights have always been an eye sore.

Rud, nothing is back in the truck yet, have to fix a lot of rust in floors and I'm going to be smoothing the firewall out, hoping to be back on the truck in a few months when I get some other stuff squared away
