Do we use the same brake master cylinder as the one in the standard S-10/S-15? I think I need a new one.

Should be the same. As long as it is from a s10 with drum brakes.

Pretty sure you can do better on price depending on whats around you. I think last time I got one at NAPA it was under $100.

Check www.rockauto.com for pricing. I checked earlier but didn't link the page. They were quite a bit cheaper though.
