I just got a lead on a vehicle I really want. The sell hasn't gone through yet, but if it does my typhoon will be up for sale. :( Will be sad to see it go

110k miles
Mostly stock I have a hood tuned 3 bar chip with EGR delete.
electric fan installed
Zq8 steering box
Jeep shaft
ATR exhaust
Kenne bell cold air
Sunroof (told it was dealer installed... either way it doesn't leak)
Just put in new gaskets from lower intake/valve covers on up.
New tires all the way around, as well as new brakes all the way around
AC and cruise work No problem

Runs great, no problems shifting or building boost. No funny noises or vibrations at any speed.


interior is in great shape except the dash has some glue on it from a dash mat. Have been waiting for the weather to warm up to try and clean it off. I have the dash mat as well.

Exterior has been repainted from a red/grey to red/red. To be honest they did a poor job. needs a good cut and buff. They didn't take the cladding off so you can find the grey in a few spots. No body rust to be found what so ever.

If I do end up purchasing the other car I will get up pics ASAP.

I'll be looking to get $5800 OBO

OK so the other car I am looking at is an HHR SS, not nearly the traction of the Ty but still should get around fairly well, and get much better mileage. I had a Cobalt SS turbo and it just wasn't big enough. I think the HHR SS will be a good middle ground between the two.

either way I am still waiting on a few things to clear on the other car. I don't see any reason why I won't be selling this. :(

I do feel the need to add to the original description.

**I had just purchased the 3 bar chip, I went to install it today (replacing a 2bar pitbull) and theres something funny in the chip (or I have a bad map sensor) causing it to stutter when you mash the throttle. So I put the pitbull and 2 bar sensor back on. Runs without issues with that chip. However not having the EGR hooked up will kick a CEL when cruising on the highway.**

This was my daily driver all last summer, until the intake gasket started leaking.

The vacuum lines were all replaced with silicone lines.

The only thing I know of that it needs are ball joints. I was planning on upgrading to coil overs so I didn't worry about them.

The cladding to the left of the bumper has been repaired, had a small piece missing out of it. Looks good to me, but I figured I would mention it.

I wanna say I've put 3000 miles on it. I've had it since last summer is all. I don't have a carfax but the last owner did have one and there were no issues. We finally got some decent weather today and I have been driving it around pretty much all day, I probably should have been cleaning it out but I might as well enjoy it while I have it.

The spare tire is in my garage, when I bought the truck it didn't have the hook that holds the tire to the side. I can probably get one from the local yard if you really want it.

This truck needs to go! I will be daily driving it for the next few weeks, until the other rig shows up. give me a call and I'm sure we can work something out. We have an airport in Butte, you can fly in and drive this home.

Can I get pics of bottom of doors,rear gate and a underside shot? and how far from a major airport are you? would you call the truck ok to drive to michigan? If no willing to work with shipper?

the glue on the dash you talking about is it right on the side on the cluster bracket

Yeah give me a little and I will take these for you. It would make the trip to michigan as well as any other 110k mile vehicle. I took it on a 6hr trip with out an issue. Shipping may be cheaper tho. I had it shipped up from Texas for about $650. We have an airport in butte, its delta airlines, they only fly in and out of salt lake but that's a big hub. I will take pics give me an hour or so.

as far as the glue yes that is some of it, and there are 2 lines about 4 inches long I will take some better pics for you of it.

Too bad it's not a 93. Nice looking ty. That's a fair price given todays crappy market on everything.

Are you tall?? Because i have been in a HHR several time's. You just cannot see out of the damn things:lol: But if you do get it i would debadge it get some steel wheels on it AND THEN SIT BACK AN ENJOY RAPE'N EVRYONE:rotf::rotf:

Man, if I had the funds, I would jump on this in a heartbeat. There is a white one here where I live that needs a new tranny and they want 10 for it.

Out of curiousity, what's going on with the driver side rear cladding? Looks like it's more than out of adjustment. Broken tailgate tab?
