Traded in my Sy, so I have its shiny black louvered hood for sale. This hood is similar to the one on the Typhoon-C and does a great job of letting turbo heat escape while retaining the stock look. It fits both Sy and Ty.

try bus. I shipped 2 1962 Impala fenders wrapped together from Grand Forks North Dakota to Florida and it was $87.00.And those fenders are bigger and heavier than that hood is.

I want this hood, But the holidays have my hands tied. Why couldn't you have had this up for sale a couple months ago. :banghead:

Sorry, I don't have any pics of the underside at the moment. It's basically stock looking with the heat shield still in place, covering the bracing/support. Both sides of the heat shield have been trimmed where the louvers are to allow heat to escape.

I like this hood, but the only thing that would make it that much better is if it was a cowl hood. I'd drive all the way up there to get it myself if it was.

I only know of one guy in So Cal that still louvers hoods. If I remember correctly, They are about $12. a louver plus the cut and replace of the support. Then you have to paint it. It could easily drain the bank account.

So... Does that mean that your Cowl hood is going up for sale, :) Or is that going to be the replacement for the Ty?
